Barbora Chlastáková (Pseudonym Bacha ; *1983, Příbram) is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno, she studied there in 2006-2012 under the direction of Martin Mainer and then Luděk Rathouský. In 2008 she took part in the study visit to Facultad Bellas Artes (Cuenca, Spain). In 2016 she was in Meghalava in northern India as part of the artistic residence in Khasi Hills.
It regularly exhibits her works in the Czech Republic and abroad. Since its own family was founded in 2018, she has lived and worked in Vimperk (Winterberg).
Barbora Chlastáková soon developed an individual manuscript, for which the combination of figures and abstract elements is typical, which is supported by a striking, often even expressive color. The perfectly mastered figure, but also the feeling for geometric ornaments, enable her to provide insight into the world of primal forces, into the passionately lyrical, mysterious, dreamlike, but at the same time without reservation and sometimes even raw real world.
On the one hand, the pictures of Barbora Chlastáková represent an artistic expression of the author's inner life, on the other hand, they act like a magical mirror, vertebrae, which draws the viewer into the depth of his own subconscious.

The exhibition, which is prepared for the newly reconstructed rooms of the Winterberg Castle , presents the latest pictures of the author, which are dedicated to the topics of transience, changeability and search for humanity. Barbora Chlastáková symbolically connects them to the Böhmerwald landscape and thus, as the Bohemian forest is described in Karel Klostermann's stories
Even if her works were created regardless of the monastery man's book in the Bohemian Forest paradise , she updates the essential meanings of this classic work of the literature at the end of the 19th century using the medium of painting. She even showed similar topics in which the melodramatic Böhmerwald landscape with all color conversions, animals and people who live there and elements as an important player.
The Bohemian Forest inspired Klostermann and dozens of artists who represented him in different ways and he continues to inspire the current artists. The current art and its version are represented here by works by Barbora Chlastáková and its exhibition "in the Böhmerwaldparadies" .
