We at Kunstplaza always look forward to guest contributions. We are very happy to work on different topics related to art, design and culture with guest authors.

As a guest author, you have the option of introducing your expertise in a certain area and at the same time benefit from our reach.

Together for diversity

As a small team, we cannot cover every topic ourselves. We are also enthusiastic about the many knowledge, experiences and special stories of artists of all kinds, free authors, art students, employees at a university, research facility or academy, as well as art staffins bloggers out there.

Texts that are written out of passion and personal interest provide special insights such as exciting perspectives and fresh perspectives, and are therefore expressly welcome.

What you should bring as a guest author

In principle, it is enough if you are enthusiastic about the art world and enjoy writing. You should only have a little experience in writing and publishing online posts.

Are you an author, research assistant at an art college, art student, art -related blogger or freelance copywriter with one or more exciting topics that suit us?

Then we would like to offer you the opportunity to make your texts accessible to a larger public about our art magazine - completely equal with our other editorial content.

A legitimate question. This form of cooperation is mutual giving and taking. We know the work and effort that are incurred for high -quality contributions. Therefore, we would like to appreciate your contribution with a consideration.

They make content and topics for which they burn, accessible to a broad readership. We currently have over 57,000 readers per month, and the trend is rising rapidly.

In addition to linking your homepage or blog in the author box, you can set up to 3 different do-follow links within the article (Note: We reserve the right to check the thematic relevance of these links).

You have access to our content management system (WordPress). This makes your content playing easily-similar to how you are used to, adjust and edit your Word program.

Present yourself in an author box with a photo, profile text, homepage and social links). This appears automatically under your contributions.

Free images

Are you still missing suitable pictures to put your contribution really nice? No problem! With us you get access to a huge pool of high -quality images on a wide variety of topics.

Author directory (in planning)

Our authors' own directory is already being planned. This gives you another section on our platform to stage yourself for your favorite topics.

A few more rules for guest contributions

We have formulated a few rules for a guest contribution to the content of our magazine and offer our readers. We ask you to take them into account and adhere to them. Otherwise, we may not be able to allow your article, and that would be a shame.

  • Thematic relevance: The topic basically fits into one of our categories (see link above) and our thematic focus.
  • Added value for the reader: Please always think of the readers. The article should be informative, entertaining, exciting or helpful.
  • No copyright infringement: the content must be free of third rights. With your own pictures, please make sure that they are free of license or you have the rights for use.
  • No duplicate content: the text should be written and so far not been published in any other point on the Internet.
  • Scope: at least 800 words, ideally more than 1,000 words
  • Spelling & grammar: Pay attention to correct spelling in compliance with the new spelling rules and clean grammar.
  • Readability and structure: The content should be easy to read and not too difficult to digest. For this, a well -thought -out structure, the formation of rather short and simple sentences as well as the avoidance of excessive specialist jargon and foreign words are advisable.
  • If in doubt, contact us in advance: If in doubt, it is best to clarify your topic with us shortly in advance. It would be a shame if you work for free.

Helpful tips / guidelines

You would certainly like to achieve the greatest possible effect with your contribution. Your success is also close to our heart.

Based on our many years of experience, in addition to the above -mentioned basic rules, the following guidelines and tips have proven in particular:

Crunchy heading

A meaningful title phrase should awaken attention and curiosity. An important foundation stone so that your article is clicked and read.

Here you will find tried out ideas and suggestions:

Introduction

Cover the article with a summary introduction.

Two to three sentences as an occasion help the reader to quickly grasp what it is about.

Writing style

Write about your topic in your personal, individual style. Do not fall into advertising or PR language.

Contents should neither be too technocratic or by civil service.

Write according to the KISS principle: Keep it Simple and Stupid!

structuring

A well thought -out and clear structure helps the reader to better use long texts.

Use structuring elements such as sub-headings (H2-H5), sections, list points, quotes, highlighting, quotes, & Co.

Dear long passages into small, well digestible snacks.

Focus on the reader

Always think of the reader and put yourself in your / his location. It's about creating added value for her / her.

Ask the following questions:

  • The content is easy to understand
  • Is the article either informative, helpful, entertaining, exciting, controversial, funny or answered an important question?

Images & media

The Internet is a visual medium. Images, graphics and videos underline their statements, convey content in an appealing form and loosen texts.

Use these media if possible. However, you must be available for free use or you have the corresponding usage rights.

Please clarify the rights of use in advance.

Sources & documents

If you lead numbers or facts, claim facts and set up theses, you can prove them with the best possible information as possible.

Author box

At the end of the text your author box appears with a picture, profile text and your (social) links.

Complete information ensures more trust among your readers. In addition, interested people can get in touch with them more easily.

A beautiful profile picture can work miracles. In the anonymous internet, a smiling face often has a big impact.
