Image "Zoological Garden I" (1912), framed
A visit to the zoo with artists - August Macke was a regular guest in the Cologne Zoo and filled sketch block after a sketch block. In the studio he worked on his famous animal pictures. Here, however, he shows the zoological garden visited by humans in all its colors.
Original: 1912, oil on canvas, 59 x 98 cm, municipal gallery in the Lenbachhaus, Munich.
Edition in the Fine-Art Giclée process transferred directly to the canvas and excited to a stretcher frame. Limited edition 980 copies, numbered, with certificate. Framed in hand-made, black-silver-colored solid wood frame. Format 54 x 90 cm (h/b).
