If jogging, cycling or brisk walks are an integral part of your everyday life, you may be able to look better outside the box than your couch -loving friends or neighbors.
The connection between physical exercise and improved health - both physically and mentally - has been known for a long time, but an active lifestyle also makes them more creative .
Increasing creativity through sport and movement
Researchers from the Austrian University of Graz analyzed the effects of regular movement on human imagination and found a clear connection between healthy lifestyle, positive mood and innovative thinking. In general, more active means more creativity - but why?
A group of 79 adults between the ages of 18 and 33 was examined over a period of five days, their "everyday body movements" were recorded, and the participants completed a number of invention tests to evaluate their level of creativity, while they also explained their moods themselves.
While the physical reaction of movement to physical health can be measured directly, the connection between active lifestyle and creativity is abstract.
One theory says that the endorphins , the increased blood circulation and other physical attributes of regular movement create a gust of happiness that contributes to fueling original or abstract thoughts. In order to test this idea, Graz scientists applied to statistical data from other studies in order to increase the sample group and to isolate which factors could have influenced the performance.

Study participants with an active lifestyle proved to be more creative than those with more sitting habits, the researchers found in nature: Scientific Reports , but extremely strong training was no better than moderate training to increase the level of creativity. Active participants were more creative, but not always happier than their inactive colleagues, which indicates that movement as happiness was the catalyst for more creativity .
Since the study "associative" , the New York Times , it cannot tell us "whether more activity makes us more creative" - but at least it proves that "activity and creativity are connected to each other" .
At the same time, sport leads to the pounds tumble
In order to tackle the fat deposit in the body, it is necessary to have an energy consumption that is higher than the calorie intake. The most effective way to a healthy weight loss leads through sport. But which sports not only strict, but also help with the loss of excess kilos? The following article will find several answers to this question.
Sports activity does not require membership in the gym
It does not necessarily have to start the path to weight loss with the help of sports with the purchase of expensive sports equipment or register in a gym. If the last training session has been a little longer, it is advisable to promote the condition with more exercise in everyday life. One of the first paths leads, for example, to the stairwell in front of the apartment door. Running stairs is effective training, which not only makes the fat pads disappear to the thighs.

A second option for free sports in the fresh air can be found in the form of trim-dich paths. Many cities and municipalities have invested in the modernization of the individual stages of the paths in recent years. These walks with small sporting stops are also very suitable for families with children or a walk with dogs. In this way, the increased proportion of movement is the easiest to combine with the existing leisure activities.
Endurance sports not only increase the condition in training
Anyone who has already lost the first pounds on the trim-dich paths can switch to the next endurance sports. Sports such as jogging or Nordic walking are still on this list of options. The sticks used in this sport not only help to keep the balance on uneven forest soils. By holding the Nordic Walking sticks, the arms are also integrated into endurance training.
If the training is also allowed to include further routes, cycling is a new leisure activity. With the two -wheeler to explore the city or the surrounding nature, due to the new selection of bicycles, it has also gained fascination. This means of course the currently popular e-bikes. E-bikes help you lose weight by making it easier to leave the car standing and, for example, switching to bicycles for errands. With the help of the engine, the existing obesity does not constitute a load and the bike is not only suitable for shorter distances.
Express sports replace body fat for muscle mass
Sometimes fat pads can prove to be very persistent and do not even disappear with a strict diet. An option to no longer have to be annoyed about these problem areas can be found in the form of strength training. It starts with simple exercises such as dumbbell training or pull -ups. The more the hobby athletes like to find this training, the easier it is to involve further exercises and finally arrive at a full body workout.
With the purchase of training equipment, the exchange of the scales is also recommended. Devices with existing body fat measurement show more clearly whether the fat cushions are slowly dismantling or not. Only the weight of measuring is not a sufficient indicator for this, since the rising muscle mass does not necessarily ensure that strength training also reduces body weight.
Team sports do not help to lose motivation
If the success of the customer is not always visible immediately after a sweaty training, the motivation can drop noticeably over time. As a countermeasure, it is advisable to prepare better at this time and to choose a team sport as a preventive measure.
In a team, a certain number of players are often used so that training starts or two teams can meet. In order to overcome the inner bastard, it is therefore not bad to appeal to the sense of responsibility and thereby not let the other team members down.
