Steve McCurry started his career as a photographer after studying cinematography at Pennsylvania State University. He has been an outstanding portrait photographer of world rank for almost fifty years.

With a camera and few belongings, he started a transformative adventure in India. In order to familiarize the world with the horrors of the Russian invasion in Pakistan, he jeopardized his life to film it.
