"Main and ancillary paths" is one of the most famous paintings by Paul Klee. It belongs to the group of its numerous layers and stripes and was created in January 1929 to Klee's second trip to Egypt. It processes light and color experiences there - the atmospheric key to understanding an ancient culture. The blue of the Nile, the yellow-orange of the Egyptian sun and the color layers of the ornamental straps in the Graben Chambers of Asuan.
The reproduction shown here impressively directs the viewer's view of the central message of the picture. This modern type of reproduction on acrylic glass enables a high color brilliance and at the same time unfolds a previously unknown presence in the room. Classics in art history become modern room objects here.
