The Dutch sculptor Evert the Hartog is convincing in his works in his works and earth connection. He received his artistic training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam and discovered his passion for bronze sculptures in the 1980s. His motifs mainly come from the wildlife and ancient mythology, which are presented with tremendous joie de vivre and dynamics. His work is also characterized by Dutch humor, which gives the bronze sculptures an unexpected lightness. In galleries in the Netherlands and Germany, Evert presents the Hartog its extensive oeuvre to a wide audience. An outstanding masterpiece is his loving elephant, who almost seems to float with bliss and brings happiness and keeps all worries away.
