Born in Munich in 1951 as the son of the writer Gerhard Szczesny, lives and creates the European artist who celebrates international successes for over 20 years in his adopted home Saint-Tropez. Previously, he lived and worked on places such as New York, Paris, Rome, Seville, Mustique, Saint Lucia, Cologne etc. Szczesny works were shown worldwide in numerous museum, individual and group exhibitions. A special highlight was the retrospective "Métamorphoses Méditerranéennes" in the Papstpalast Avignon in 2014 with more than 250 exhibits. Stefan Szczesny is now one of the important contemporary artists in Europe.
